Couple Divorce After Having Affair With Each Other Online

Talk about bad luck!

A Bosnian couple filed for divorce after discovering both were having an online affair. The kicker, they were having an affair with each other under fake names.

Having an Affair with the person you’re married to!

In an online chat forum, Sana, 27 and her husband Adnan Klaric, 32 from Zenica, Bosnia, found each other under fake names (Sweetie and Prince of Joy) and both poured their hearts out about their marital problems.

Sana said when they were chatting she realized how alike their marriages were. Both seemed to be troubled in the same ways.

Both husband and wife now knew they’d married the wrong person and their true soulmate was the person they’d been chatting with online.

After secretly chatting for months, both came to the realization they were perfect for each other so they set a time and place to meet in person.

Secret signal

They came up with a secret signal for the day they were to meet, they’d each carry a rose, to identify themselves to the other, but when she saw Adnan carrying that rose, she felt betrayed and angry.

It was anything but a happy ending, each party accusing the other of being unfaithful, ending in a divorce filing.

Sana told the newspaper:

I thought I had found the love of my life. The way this Prince of Joy spoke to me, the things he wrote, the tenderness in every expression was something I had never had in my marriage.”

Adnan thought he’d finally met the perfect woman, only to find out she was the same person he was married to. Adnan said to the press:

“To be honest I still find it hard to believe that the person, Sweetie, who wrote such wonderful things to me on the internet, is actually the same woman I married and who has not said a nice word to me for years.”

My Thoughts!

Instead of being angry they could have looked at it as fate telling them they were a perfect match. Each feeling neglected in their marriage so they reached out to find what they were missing in real life online.

Clearly they have the ability to be perfect for each other but not the desire. If only they could have responded the same way in real life as they did in the chat room.

This story ran in 2007 so I’m assuming they’re divorced now and hopefully they stay out of chat rooms.
